HOW DO WE BOOK ONE OF YOUR OFFICIANTS / WEDDING OFFICERS TO CONDUCT OUR WEDDING CEREMONY?
Book now or contact us to arrange a pre-meeting. We understand that you want to feel comfortable with your officiant, so lets meet and see if you want to use us. Your wedding ceremony is booked with us by paying a deposit or in full.
HOW LONG DOES THE CEREMONY TAKE?
A small private ceremony is all up to you, anything from 5 minutes up to 30 minutes. A more formal ceremony can total up to 60 minutes if this is your requirement.
CAN A FRIEND CONDUCT MY CEREMONY?
Yes, you can ask anyone special to conduct your wedding ceremony. We will do the legal proceedings and sign the register. Our regular fee applies.
CAN WE TALK WITH AN OFFICIANT BEFORE WE RESERVE?
Absolutely. Let’s meet for coffee and have a chat. Or we can skype. Whatever makes you feel comfortable.
DO YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY BACKUP OFFICIANT ON MY WEDDING DAY?
Yes, in case of emergency we have a backup official to do your wedding ceremony. We will discuss this at the pre-meeting.
DO WE HAVE TO MEMORIZE OUR VOWS?
No you can write your own vows but come wedding day, we ‘feed them to you one phrase at a time’. Or you can read the vows yourselfs.
CAN WE USE OUR OWN VOWS?
Absolutely. We have many examples available, but you are so welcome to use your special vows.
CAN PHOTOS BE TAKEN?
Yes. And we are very flexible to the photographers needs to take the best shots.
WHAT DO YOUR OFFICIANTS/ WEDDING OFFICERS WEAR TO THE CEREMONY?
We dress according to your style requirements. Formal, flashy, beach style, etc.
DOES THE OFFICIANT/ WEDDING OFFICER STAY FOR DINNER?
This is your time to celebrate with family & friends, so don’t feel obliged to invite your officiant.
WHAT TIME DOES THE OFFICIANT/ WEDDING OFFICER ARRIVE ON OUR BIG DAY?
We arrive 30 minutes or so before the ceremony.
HOW LONG BEFORE THE WEDDING SHOULD WE BOOK A WEDDING OFFICIANT/ OFFICER?
Everyone is different. Some months are busier than others. We suggest you should book just as soon as you have your reception venue reserved. Please contact us and check our availability any time.
WILL WE BE LEGALLY MARRIED?
Yes! We are registered marriage officers with Department of Home Affairs, and you will receive your wedding certificate on your wedding day – immediately after signing of the register.
CAN OUR CHILDREN TAKE PART IN THE CEREMONY?
We encourage it. Ask us for our list of ideas in how to do just that.
IS A REHEARSAL NECESSARY AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Of course you will inform your marriage officiant of the proceedings, but it is not required to do a formal rehearsal with your officiant present. Should you wish to have your officiant at the rehearsal, then an additional fee will be applicable.
